Class Descriptions:

AE has a full range of classes to get you moving, grooving, relaxing and renewing! Classes take place in AE’s brand new, private fitness training studio. Both members and non-members are welcome to attend.

Every class has been designed to suit all levels of fitness. Variations are given for those just getting started, as well as those who are looking for a high intensity workout. AE is pleased to offer its classes at exclusive low drop-in rates as one of the many benefits of membership with Canmore's leading training centre.

 

DROP-IN FITNESS CLASSES ($5 members | $15 non-members)

SPIN:           

Fuel your workout with powerful music & group energy during our indoor cycling class! AE Spin includes 50 minutes of hills, racing, intervals & stretching that will crank up your heart rate, condition your legs, tame your booty and keep you fit to hit the mountains in the summer. Indoor cycling requires absolutely no experience and all fitness levels are welcome. Enjoy a nice smooth ride on our top-of-the line Keiser Spin Bikes!

Mountain biking enthusiasts & cyclists are also welcome to bring their own bikes / indoor trainers.

 

MOUNTAIN FIT:    

Never let fatigue change the way you move! Condition your entire body & get better at what you do outdoors by taking part in our mountain-inspired circuit training class. Mountain Fit is 50 minutes of power that will take you outside your comfort zone & develop your complete physical skillset. Each session rotates through a series of stations designed develop your strength, speed, power, agility, flexibility, endurance and cardiovascular capacity.

This class is perfect for all levels & fitness goals!

 

PUMP IT:           

Experience results with the world's most popular group fitness format - available only at AE in Canmore! This fun & exciting resistance training class will tone & strengthen your entire body using weights in a motivating group setting. Set to the tune of awesome music, this class is sure to become your all-time favorite!

All fitness levels welcome. (55 minutes)

 

ZUMBA:       (Specialty Class - $10 members / $15 non-members)

The Zumba® program fuses a variety of dance styles and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will get your heart racing and your hips shaking! This class is meant for all levels & pure fun!

 

DROP-IN YOGA CLASSES ($9.50 members | $15 non-members)

Yin:             

A gentle, meditative and relaxing class designed to suit all levels. This class focuses on encouraging deep releases & lengthening of the connective tissue by combining both flowing sequences and extended holds. (90 mins)

Yoga Flow:      

This class varies in intensity according to the time of day, with our daytime class being more rigorous and evening classes being designed to encourage deep relaxation. All levels welcome! (90 mins)

 

SPECIALTY CLASSES (Advance registration required)

Boot Camp:  

AE Boot Camp is an 8 week, high intensity group training program designed to take you outside your comfort zone & on the fast-track toward serious results! This program comes complete with nutritional guidance & is a fantastic way to experience top-end training for a fraction of the cost. Training is progressive and sessions are led by our professional trainers.
