GETTING STARTED WITH AE:

Athletic Evolution offers a full range of classes to get you moving, grooving, relaxing and renewing! Classes take place in AE’s brand new, private fitness training studio. Both members and non-members are welcome to attend.

Every class has been designed to suit all levels of fitness. Variations are given for those just getting started, as well as those who are looking for a high intensity workout. AE is pleased to offer its classes at exclusive discounted drop-in rates as one of the many benefits of membership with Canmore's leading training centre.

 

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:

METABOLIC MADNESS
A fun, high intensity boot camp style class that will leave you burning calories for hours! Activities vary each week. Metabolic conditioning. (60 minutes)

PUMP
          
This fun & exciting resistance training class will tone & strengthen your entire body using weights in a motivating group setting. Set to the tune of awesome music, this class is sure to become your all-time favorite! (60 minutes)

STRETCH N ROLL           
This class will improve your flexibility & mobility - improving how you feel overall & how you move in everything else you do. Includes dynamic flexibility exercises & foam rolling session (myofascial release) led by a Senior Personal Trainer. (60 minutes)

TRX SPORT CIRCUIT
          
This circuit training class uses the TRX Suspension Trainer & other dynamic equipment to tone, condition & challenge your entire body. No previous TRX experience needed, come give it a try! (60 minutes)

SPIN CLASSES
          
All of our cycling classes include hills, racing, intervals & drills that will crank up your heart rate, condition your legs, and keep you fit to hit the mountains in the summer. Indoor cycling requires absolutely no experience and all fitness levels are welcome. Classes are set to fun, high energy music.

Spin & Core: 75 minute spin class with core conditioning exercises for the last 15 mins
Spin & Tone: 60 minute spin class with toning exercises for your whole body
Fit Spin: 60 minute mixed level, high energy cycling class

* Enjoy our brand new, top-of-the line Keiser Spin Bikes for a super smooth ride!
*
Mountain bikers & cyclists are also welcome to bring their own bikes / indoor trainers

MOUNTAIN FIT    
Never let fatigue change the way you move! Condition your entire body & get better at what you do outdoors by taking part in our mountain-inspired circuit training class. Each session rotates through a series of stations designed develop your strength, speed, power, agility, flexibility, endurance and cardiovascular capacity. (60 minutes)

YOGA - BEGINNER / INTERMEDIATE           
A friendly & relaxing yoga class designed to suit all levels & bring balance to your fitness pursuits. Our classes focus on lengthening the muscles and connective tissue with gentle flowing sequences, hip openers, and postures for core mobility. (60 minutes)

ZUMBA       
The Zumba® program fuses a variety of dance styles and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will get your heart racing and your hips shaking! This class is suitable for all levels & absolutely no dance skills are required! (60 minutes)
